Steamed Artichokes

Ingredients

3 -4 Artichokes

2 sliced garlic

4 cardamom pods, broken open

1 tablespoon or so of fresh lemon juice

Directions

1. Put at least 2 inches of water in your pot.

2. Add garlic, cardamon pods, and lemon juice.

3. Bring to a boil then simmer for 20 minutes or till done.

Notes

1. I have been steaming these in my new Vitaclay and I love how they turn out.

2. I like eating them plain for dipping into a garlic - mayo mixture (homemade mayo).
