Marinara Sauce

Ingredients

1 - 2 tablespoons sugar free uncured bacon grease or lard

1 onion diced

1 quart organic tomato sauce or whole tomatoes blended

1/2 - 1 teaspoon unrefined salt

1 teaspoon basil

1 teaspoon oregano


Directions

1. Heat fat in pan.

2. Saute onion till soft.

3. Add tomato, salt, basil and oregano.

5. Cook uncovered till thickened and fragrant.

Notes

Top over organic spiralized veggies or wheat pasta. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
