Ginger Switchel


1 Quart


2 - 4 tablespoons raw Apple cider vinegar 

2 - 3 tablespoons raw honey

1 tablespoon fresh grated peeled ginger root

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Filtered water


1. Put all ingredients into quart jar. 

2. Filling the jar with filtered water 1 inch below the rim.

3. Screw lid tightly.

4. Shake till well mixed.

5. Strain through fine mesh strainer.

6. Enjoy throughout the day.


  • Raw Apple cider vinegar will be cloudy and should say "contains the mother".
  • If this your first time consuming raw Apple cider vinegar use 2 tablespoons to start. 
  • Feel free to reduce the ginger as needed.
  • If it is too strong you can dilute it with filtered water to taste.
  • This is not a gulping drink, take it slow and enjoy.
  • You can also try it with sparkling water instead of filtered water for a little bubbly.
